MISSION

Our mission is to cause a shift in focus from self to serving Jesus Christ. Believing that God never consults your past to determine your future. Our aim, focus, and desire is to spread God’s love and share the uncompromising word of God.

Gods word that encourages us to have a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Creating us to “Become God’s instruments of change!” led by the Holy Spirit. Reaching individuals and families in our community and around the world. Redeeming them because this is the mission of God.

In Matthew (Matt 28:19-20) Jesus gives his disciples this commandment after been gifted the authority in heaven and on earth. Saying “Therefor go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

GOD

In the book of Matthew ( Matt 22:37 ) Jesus replied to question that was asked by the Sadducees and Pharisees. “Teacher which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus responded by saying “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”

FAMILY

Outside the church our families are who we spend the most time with. The wellbeing of our families is very important not only physically and mentally but spiritually as well. In the book of Acts (Acts 16:30-33 ) A man asked a question to Paul and Silas “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They repiled “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved you and your household.”

This question lead the man to setting the example for his family to follow and as a result they all became believers In Christ Jesus and were baptized. In the book of Proverbs ( Proverbs 22:6 ) it tells us to “Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they shall not depart from it.”

We care about the wellbeing of families inside and outside the Potter’s House Church. It is important to us that we set the right example for our families to emulate. With all our action reflecting God’s Love and keeping the first and greatest commandment Jesus spoke of. And that is to love the Lord God with you all Heart, Soul and Mind.

CHURCH

In church you meet a variety of people. Some who have been there for years and others who are visiting for the first time. This church is an assembly of believers. Brothers and sisters in Christ, who yearns to be in the presence of God because we love him, his son Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

The Potter’s House Church is a support system built up of love, prayer and faith. Our desire is to reach people who don’t know Christ and tell them about the good news of his free gift of Salvation available to all men, women and children. As well as support the people who already have accepted Jesus with Gods love, prayer, and unwavering faith in Christ .

In the book of Mathew (Matt 22:39) Jesus tells us the second greatest commandment is like the first and that is “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

With this commandment as a Church we must love and support all of Gods people. That starts with the church and outpours to our community, our nation, and the world.
