Who is Jesus ?
The Holy Bible is a collection of books divided into two parts that directs everything to the prophesied coming of Jesus written in the Old Testament. And the fulfillment of scripture in the New Testament before, during and after Jesus’s crucifixion when he rose again from the grave.
Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. In the book of John (John 1:1-3) tells us that the Word of God (Jesus) was there in the beginning with God. Through him all things were created. Also in the same book (John 1:14) says the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
When the Word of God (Jesus) became man he also experienced every emotion and temptation of sin as we do says (Hebrews 4:15). Because of this experience he is able to sympathize with our weakness as humans. Jesus never sinned and gave us the example of how to live.
Why He Died ?
(John 3:16-17) “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into to the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
(1 John 3:5) tells us that Jesus came to take away our sins, because in him is no sin. The Bible demands the life of something pure and innocent to atone for sin. Jesus was that sacrifice for the world that covers our sins.
The Only Way !
Because Jesus gave his life for our sin he declares he is the only way to Heaven and Eternal Life. Saying in (John 14:6) ” I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
By Jesus offering himself for ours sins we are now covered by the blood he shed on the cross. This gives us Grace that is given as a gift from God.
The book of Ephesians states (Ephesians 2:8-9) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works so no one can boast.
This makes Jesus the only way that we can relate to God and for God to relate to us through him. By Jesus rising from the grave it is now possible for us to have a renewed relationship with God.
