Baptism
We believe in the water baptism and that it is our public profession of our faith.  When we are submerged under the water it signifies our death to our old ways and life.  When we are brought back up, it signifies that we are a new creation in Christ.  Old things have passed away and all things are made new.

The reason we do this is because we believe we should follow Jesus Christ’s example in all things.
Matthew 3:13-16 (AMP)
13  Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him.
14  But John protested strenuously, having in mind to prevent Him, saying, It is I who have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?
15  But Jesus replied to him, Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for [both of] us to fulfill all righteousness [that is, to perform completely whatever is right]. Then he permitted Him.
16  And when Jesus was baptized, He went up at once out of the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he [John] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him.

Baptisms are held during our Thursday Evening service, every 3rd Thursday of the month.  If you or someone you know would like to be baptized, you are more than welcome!  The only thing required is that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.  All we ask is that you please bring a change of clothes.
